Dr. Amiya Prasad is the Surgical Director of Le Visage Cosmetic Surgery with offices in Manhattan's Upper Eastside and Garden City, Long Island. Dr. Prasad has performed thousands of surgeries and specializes in Cosmetic Surgery of the eyes and face and in liposuction. A graduate of The Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City, Dr. Prasad received his specialty training by top surgeons associated with The University of Texas in Houston and Galveston as well as The Baylor College of Medicine. He is board certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners and by the American Board of Ophthalmology and he is a fellow of the American Society of Oculofacial Surgery. Dr. Prasad's work has been featured on network television news programs including Channel 4's Live at 5, The WB11 Morning News, Channel 7's Eyewitness News as well as cable news programs like News 12 and several leading magazines and websites. He has written many well-received articles in peer-reviewed journals.

Dr. Prasad has been practicing in New York for more than 10 years. He teaches future surgeons at several institutions including SUNY Downstate Medical School where he is an Assistant Professor, Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital, Winthrop University Hospital and Nassau University Medical Center. He was formerly Chief of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Brookdale University Hospital in Brooklyn, New York before leaving to work full-time in his thriving practice. He lectures and teaches colleagues regularly about cosmetic surgery.
